Joseph Gueron was born in Casablanca, Morocco. After high school he emigrated to Venezuela, where he began his studies at Universidad Central de Venezuela. When it was closed for a long period due to a political crisis, he came to US to complete his studies on a scholarship. He graduated from Tusculum College with a BS in Physics, and East Tennessee State University with an MS in Math. He also received an MA in Communications from the University of Maryland. Retired from USAID after a long career in IT, he is writing a collection of short stories and screenplays. Recently he is the producer and writer of GloBeat, a radio program of world music, broadcasted by WERA 92.7 FM @Arlington VA. He lives in Falls Church, VA.
